Lesson 10 · 10 min
Why It Is So Hard
The magic leaks. Everything else is a fight to slow the leak down.
If qubits are so clever, why is there not one in your phone? Because the magic is fragile. A bump, a flash of light, a little warmth — and the qubit forgets.
- The world is always watching. Anything that notices which way the coin landed ends the magic.
- That is why real machines sit in tanks colder than outer space, holding very still.
- The magic lasts a tiny fraction of a second, so every move has to be finished before it fades.
- The fix is teamwork: many shaky qubits protecting one good one, checking each other constantly.
