Lesson 11 · 12 min

You Can Run One

Everything you just learned, in five lines you can actually execute.

Everything in this track is real, and you can make it happen yourself. Five short lines build the impossible pair from lesson 6 and show you the answers.

  • You build a circuit, add moves, then look. That is the whole shape of every quantum program.
  • The numbers that come back are counts: how many times each answer turned up.
  • They will not be exactly equal, and that is correct. Real randomness is lumpy.
  • Run it again and the numbers change slightly. That is the machine being honest.

Quick check

0/3
  1. 1. Running a Bell pair 1000 times, which answers do you expect?

  2. 2. Your counts come back 496 and 528 instead of 500 and 500. What is that?

  3. 3. What does the CNOT gate copy?
